Well, it has been a long week. We sold our house, and we close tomorrow and so over the last week we spend all of our time preparing for that event. I didn't workout one bit, but I did make sure to count everything I ate up until Thursday night and then Friday night. However I did track both days. My mom gave me words of encouragement last Monday because I didn't lose anything, but I did break even and she challenged me to figure out what went wrong and fix it. Well, well what went wrong is that I didn't write down anything I ate all week. When I do that I don't get anywhere because I am always overeating, and over portioning everything. Also, I missed the weeks meeting two weeks ago because we went to look at the house we put an offer on. So, I didn't get my words of encouragement. But doing this with my mom has really been helpful and really given me pushed me to really try to make this a change in my life, I think doing this by myself by now would have killed me and I never would have made it this far, but having my mom right by me helps me out.
This week I started doing P90X. My wife and I have a strange living arrangement, so I have nothing but time after work. I decided to make the most of it and start doing something that will help me while we are apart on the weekdays and then during the weekends we can do other things. It wasn't too bad tonight, but I know what is coming tomorrow, so I am not super excited. I want to do this a couple of times before I start my running routines. I just felt like my body isn't accepting the fact that I want to run, but still have a lot of weight on my body, so I am going to try this twice, which would put me at 6 months. I feel that then my body will be more accepting of my running goal. So check back often because I am going to try and post every night after my workout!
