So this week I feel totally energized! I went to WW last night and lost 2.2 lbs. Not to bad. I think it would be more, but I have been lifting weights pretty heavily trying to build up my shoulders and everything else. I have been also working out super hard lately. Last week I didn't do much working out because I had a sinus infection and really didn't feel like doing it, but I did stay within my points for the biggest portion of the week. Friday, and Saturday were a little shaky, but all in all I was able to lose weight and start the week on a high.
This week at work we started our version of "The Biggest Loser" at work, but we are calling it the Pound Plunge. There are four of us on a team and there are several teams, all vying for couple of prizes at the end of eight weeks. I don't necessarily care if we win. I am ultimately just excited to see the outcome after eight weeks. If I keep it up and lose 2 pounds a week then I will be able to have lost 20 lbs all together by the end of April. But, if I am strict with my diet and exercise, and can maybe pull out three pounds a week, the I could end up having lost all together 30 pounds by the end. Thirty pounds is nothing to shake a stick at. Though it is only a quarter of my ultimate goal, it is still a quarter of it!
I know that I have only been posting once a week, but I am going to start trying to post more so I can keep track of how I feel during the week and how my workout are going.
