The last week has been rather crazy. My father came home for a visit and we celebrated our 6th anniversary. SO last weekend we did a little splurging, but when I went to weight watchers on Monday, I was surprised to find that I had lost at least one pound. ONE, it's better than GAINING one pound.
This week my goal was to get back on track, so I have made sure to track everything and measure my food and stay focused. Monday I didn't exercise, but I have the rest of the week. Every day this week has been tough, I have struggled with the weather, exercise, eating right, work and everything. I was pleasantly surprised when I was driving home from work to see that the sun was starting to come out. Oh how I have missed the sun and the heat. I can't wait for the sun and the warming heat of Spring.
Tonight wasn't the greatest night. We went to my parents and had dinner and they had some treats. I would be lying if I said I was ashamed that I splurged, but I'm not. Yes, I did eat a bit more than I should have, and had one to many treats, but that's life. I wouldn't be human if I didn't have a few mess ups, but what is important is what I do the rest of the day and tomorrow. My plan is to workout and to make sure that I eat healthy all day and make sure that I choose something healthy when we go out to dinner with my family tomorrow for the last time before my dad heads back to Iraq. It's all about planning ahead and being prepared.
