Well, I have been doing some doubling up on my exercising. I have two videos that I have been doing, they are the Biggest Loser videos. They are only 30 minute workouts, but when I do one video in the morning to get me going through the day, and then after everything has settled down at night, my wife usually does her workout, so I started doing my workouts at night as well. When I first started doing the cardio workout I could only do half of the workout. When I say half the workout I mean I couldn't even do all of the half of the workout. Then after the first week, I started seeing the differences. I started being able to do all of the half of the workouts, then I started doing all of the workouts. I decided to buy the second DVD and doubling up on the workouts. I am finishing up the first week with both of the dvd's and am feeling a noticeable change with myself.
The dvd's have a 6-8 week "Maximum Results" workout that I have been doing. It starts with weeks 1-2, then 3-4 and 5-6. I am probably going to make it 9 weeks and do each level for three weeks. Eight more weeks to go. My goal is to lose 40-50lbs by November.

New Week
Well it's a new week tomorrow. This week I had a sort of mind opening experience. I hadn't gotten up to do my workouts the past week. It seemed like I was so tired every morning, like my body felt like lead and I didn't want to get up @ 5:30 to go walking. Even though I was tracking everything I was eating, I didn't feel all that good because I hadn't worked out all week. Then I really had a giant thought, if I didn't start doubling up on my exercise and working out more I wouldn't be getting to my goal of 40 - 50 lbs. So I decided that starting tomorrow I will be getting up and going on my walk and then at night after things are squared away I need to do another 30+ minutes of exercise to make my goal. I don't think that it's going to be another walk, but maybe something to do with weights and trying to tone my muscles. We'll see how that goes for a week or so.

It's Been a While
It really has been a while since I last updated. I can't say why I stopped updating, not can I explain my mindset. I had just started my running program when I noticed that the inside of my left knee started throbbing. So I stopped the program for a while and decided to let it get better. Well then we moved and I just stopped everything, I stopped going to Weight Watchers, mainly because we don't have the money to keep me going, but also because I just got into my normal funk and decided that I didn't want to go nor keep track of everything I ate. Well, it all fell apart and I just got fed up again. I hadn't let myself slip all the way back mainly because I have set a goal to lose at least 50 lbs by Nov. We are going to Sacramento for Thanksgiving and so I set my goal.
We started the pedometer contest at work and I signed up to participate in it. They are used a website to track our steps called: http://startwalkingnow.org/. It's the American Heart Association's website. They have a steps tracker plus a food tracker, but I am using the http://www.livestrong.com, the daily plate. My ultimate goal is 100 lbs, but I will start with 50. I never thought that walking everyday was going to help me lose weight, but there was an article on Livestrong.com called Walking Tips To Lose Weight, here is the link: http://www.livestrong.com/article/104473-walking-tips-lose-weight/?utm_source=augustnewsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=100803. I have been trying to increase my walking to 45 minutes each morning, but some mornings I only get 30 in. At least I am going each morning. Well it is getting late and I have to get up for my walk at 5:30.
